Mega Man X Legacy Collection is a collection of excellent games. Veterans will relive some of the best adventures of Mega Man, while newcomers will come to know why this series became so important in the history of this industry. Those are obligatory games to anyone that likes platforming games.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection is an amazing way to experience the past. There's a load of content in this collection and it is certainly worth the price. You get 32 mavericks, a museum full of goodies and Mega Man history, and a new mode where you take on 2 mavericks at the same time. This collection has a plethora of settings that can change your experience. There's a rookie mode which overall makes the experience easier. The Mega Man X games presented are all amazing and some of the best in the series. Mega Man X 4 is an absolute classic. The soundtracks of these games are awesome. You get pounding rock soundtracks while fighting robotic whales, penguins, and mandrills. In conclusion, this is an amazing legacy collection that has great bang for your buck. Definitely check it out if you're a fun of the Mega Man series or if you are trying to get into it. Have a great day/night, folks!
Worth the money, if you are looking to get into the Mega man x series this is the way to do it!
The game comes with a bunch of additional features such as the gallery and music (OST) which are really enjoyable for hardcore fans. Also a rookie hunter mode which really helps out people new to the series or assists you when getting through very difficult situations or bosses.
X1 - fantastic game to start off the series, did have some difficulty with the platforming on the Xbox controller. 8/10
X2 - better than the first game with more fun bosses and stages, music was however better in the first one 9/10
X3 - the most difficult out of the three but still a lot of fun, rookie mode was really helpful. I would say that the platforming was very difficult if not broken towards the last stages 7/10
X4 - easily my favorite out of the bunch, giving the option to play the story through either Zero or X easily a 9.5/10
Overall worth the purchase, much better than buying each game individually! 9/10
With Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1, you’re paying $19.99 for some of the greatest action platformers ever. That in itself justifies the purchase, even if X Challenge is a bit underwhelming. Anyone who has never played Mega Man X should absolutely buy this collection and change that. And for those who have played these games before, it’s probably worth their time and money to play them again.
Packing four incredible action games from the mid-'90s into one nostalgic package, Mega Man X Legacy Collection might not feature the entire X saga but it's certainly the best of it.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection is a competent and interesting collection thanks to the games it contains. Unfortunately, it lacks different emulation characteristics which have appeared in previous games. This fact makes this game worse.
This is a good collection for all Megaman X and new Megaman X fans (because of rookie hunter mode).
Collection 1 has Megaman X1, Megaman X2, Meganman X3 and Megaman X4 and has the "better" games of the 2 collections.
I fully enjoyed playing all the game from 1 to 4 and has to be one of my favorite collection to date.
I'm not gonna explain what megaman x entails because there are enough reviews of that already.
I'm just gonna say i fully recommend this Megaman X Legacy Collection.
Right in this collection you find all the best Mega Man X games! Greatly drawn stages and enemies, controls of charging / dashing / jumping greatness, a great rock soundtrack, the most epic 2d boss fights. All elements built up to Jump 'n' Shoot perfection!
But be warned: some bosses have punishingly strong attacks, you need immense focus to take them down. Luckily a rookie mode (easy mode) is added, which you can turn on and off anytime.
A lot of galleries with art pieces of the blue bomber's universe complete this explosive package.
