A really fun game with great music, solid graphics, and a good degree of difficulty, but its very basic gameplay and lack of options doesn’t give it a whole lot of staying power.
This game is pretty dang interesting, the characters alone will make you want to play it, and the gameplay, while sometimes frustrating, is pretty neat too.

The poor maneuverability of Mister Mosquito seriously shrink-rays that already little fun, and makes the game a lot more frustrating than it ought to be. Fresh, though, you've got to give it that.
Mr Mosquito answers one of life's biggest question what would be like to be a parasite that kills over 1 million people every year. And after this game you a have a good connection as they character not only **** blood but the love and attention from everyone who's ever seen this cutie in action.
Mr mosquito is one of the most amazing and unique PS2 game that is getting a bit pricey ****'s also a funny comedy game. I was entertained all the way through even if some of the accents was racist. It's all in good fun and it has some of the most fun and unique gameplay I have seen in a ps2 game nowadays isn't anything like it, play on the PS2 if you get the chance.
I'm honestly surprised the ratings for this game are so low. This is easily one of my favorite PS2 games now. I played through this recently with a few friends under the assumption that it was bad and would give a few laughs and that's it. However, I was surprised to find myself genuinely enjoying the game more and more as I played through it.
The game controls quite well and I very rarely had any moments where I struggled with them. The issue is they don't really tell you any of them in the game itself so you have to either look at the manual or figure them out yourself. I did the former of the two. It controls like a space shooter, somewhat similarly to Star Fox, and I think it suits the game surprisingly well. The objective of the game is very simple; just flying to the correct points of a character's body and **** them until you pass the stage. I think the controls make this really fun though.
When the game started, I found myself laughing at all the characters for how odd they were, but by the end of the game I felt a genuine connection with them, which I was not expecting at all. In fact, by the end of the game, I almost felt bad for having been fighting against them the whole game. I find the whole family really charming and likable, ESPECIALLY the father, Kenichi. You can tell how much effort the voice actor was putting into his lines, and I think that really adds a lot to the character.
The game isn't without it's flaws though. Without giving anything away, some stages feel pretty unfair and you have to be really careful and precise to avoid getting killed. I did find myself able to create strategies that allowed me to pass any hard stages I ran into though, so I wouldn't say this hindered my overall experience much at all. Another thing is the game is fairly short, which may be a turn off for some people. I personally think it's better suited as a short game as I think it has a lot of replay value, so this didn't hinder my experience much either.
So overall, I think this is a great and heavily underrated game. It's incredibly charming and, while it can occasionally be difficult, I found myself having more fun than not. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to play some obscure PS2 titles.
