Pandora Saga has formidable features, but it's not enough to give the game wide range appeal. Players who enjoy a strong player-versus-player environment might thrive in Pandora Saga; assuming they can make it past the painfully boring first twenty levels of the game.
am i really the 2nd person to even attempt reviewing this game? its an mmo for christ sake, i woulda thought there'd be at least A FEW people trying this ****
I tried this game for a bit.
The gameplay is what a MMORPG should be. (Yes grinding and slow moving speed).
You level up like other RPG, you can allocate points to attributes you like so you can make a build of your own and you can even level up your weapon skills (slashing cleaving). You also have 4 classes (warrior, scout, acolyte, mage) and after lvl 20 you can choose an advanced class like gladiator or knight for the warrior each with other attributes.
That said let's see the quests: Basically run around killing monster or collecting stuff.
User friendly: Not much to say so i guess it's pretty good i think.
Music: You got world music and combat music. Combat music only when you unsheathe your weapon.
Graphics are not that good. There are a lot of free MMORPG's with better graphics out there.
Conclusion: Although it looks nice and is promising it's just a let down, gameplay gets boring after a while. If you are MMORPG fan check this out if not then try it but don't blame me if you got bored.
Nothing original, nothing done better than other MMOs that are also unoriginal. It's just completely and utterly not worth playing. I honestly don't know how this game has any community when it excels in not one aspect of the MMO experience.
This MMO has potential for a free to play MMO. However the marketing setup is disgusting. At least 50% or more of the items (that isn't complete rubbish) is cash shop items. But hold on, before you think something around the lines of "that's not too bad". It gets worse. Much worse. The good cash shop items comes from a so-called "minigame", Gacha. Gacha gives you the option to click 1 of 3 options which will randomly generate you an item. $1 USD per roll. Want a good item? Be prepared to pay several hundred dollars for it. Moving on. The game itself is bug infested. The controls and connections are sluggish. Want to hit a moving target with a melee skill? Forget about it. The game got 3 factions, yes 3 factions. If you're not in the strongest faction forget about going to any fun area, forget about RvR/PK. The company that provides the english version of the game, Atlus Online, does not have a single clue how to run an MMO. In fact, I'm not even sure they can dress themselves without help. Need GM assistance? Create a support ticket that will be answered eventually. Need help from a GM in-game? Forget about it, they are too busy doing nothing. All in all. If you like to spend incredible amounts of money and get ripped off, get trolled, have no fun what so ever: this is the game for you.
