Brilliant game. Very unique. Enjoyed the South African references and humour. High paced, exciting and very stressful. Lots of thought and detail went into this game.
People are calling it the DarkSouls of indie-horror games. It's not scary in the conventional sense; there are no scripted jump-scares, but it will send you into a panic.
It's Hard and funny, has stealth elements, yet is fast paced.
Light puzzle elements, and you have to remember numbers.
Keeping numbers in your head whilst running away from lunatics is a very unique experience.
If you want to be spoon fed, this is not the game for you!
A very different experience to any other game I've played. It's so hard to describe, because it's a combination of a bunch of types of games: horror, puzzle, parody/comedy, action. And hearing South African accents in a game is really cool. It's very good value for the price.
SummaryDEDstress is a bizarre, high-intensity thriller. Assisted by voices in your head - run, hide and bribe your way out of a strange South African mental hospital, where the staff need more help than the patients.
