AceGamezIt's not one of those games you'll play forever, but I suspect that for many it will be one of those games that sits on the shelf so that any time you're feeling particularly evil or you've just had a bad day, you'll load it up and go eat some people.
-
PC FormatBrilliant, human-chewing fun if you like lots of blood and dismembered bodies, with some puzzle-led misiony stuff thrown in. [Feb 2007, p.67]
-
PC GamerFor the price, though, it's bloody fun. [Feb. 2007, p.72]

The good part of all this is, the game is very rarely boring. What’s happening onscreen is always dumb, sometimes infuriating and often crap, but there’s always something happening.
-
Sadly, much of the novelty wore off soon after and the rest of the game left me, just like many in the film, dead in the water.
-
In the spirit of generosity, we'll offer that there's about 30 minutes of entertainment to be had. Any fan of "Grand Theft Auto"'s goofy violence will grin as the shark tears people limb from limb. Hours of doing that and little else for hours, however, will dull the enthusiasm of even the most bloodthirsty gamer.
-
The aforementioned camera and perspective problems are the worst, but the "hunger meter" seems to fill up and dissipate so arbitrarily that you never know what your stomach needs.
