Limbus Company is an attractive game with a deep-dark concept world with characters with alienated nature. While personal tastes may differ, it delivers decent sound, visual and story as well. However, the game surely need for improvements in things such as frustrating grinding, complicated combat, uncomfortable and unfriendly UI/UX and so on.
This game is unironically one of the best pieces of fiction I have ever had the pleasure to experience.
That's all, There isn't much more to say without spoiling the entire Project Moon Universe Lore, please just go play it.
For me, Limbus Company is the very game. The developers have added gameplay. The scriptwriters wrote the plot. The graphics are visible. And even critics have not rated this game. A really high-quality gameplay-containing product. Definitely one of the games ever created!

The gameplay is fun, the story is excellent (esp if you are attracted by the worldbuilding of previous game Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina), the characters are charming, and one can grind resource if one does not want to pay real money for gacha. What is lacking is maybe the game contents are not rolled out fast enough and insufficient tutorials for the game mechanics. Still a 9 out of 10 for me
Limbus company attempts to re-hash the strategic and deep combat found in Library of Ruina for a mobile gacha, but has failed to preserve what made this combat system so complex and engaging back in Library of Ruina. The amount of agency that a player has in combats is very low, and the sanity and stagger system both make the individual fights much shorter than normal. Often, fights are won or lost in a matter of 2-3 turns, with the player's inputs not really affecting the outcome. In addition, the free-to-play new player experience is miserable, since the amount of options given to the new player is very limited. All of this combined with the Project moon tradition of incomprehensible UI and a lack of real effort in creating good tutorials will make this game nigh-impossible to get into for anyone unfamiliar with project moon's previous works, and a let-down for long-term fans who want to experience more of Library of Ruina's deep and engaging combat.
