  • Summary: Far beyond the world and its petty wars there exists a dimension of pure, malevolent magic: The Realm of Chaos. It is a terrible place, incomprehensible to the mortal mind. It whispers promises of power, but to behold it is to be seduced by it. To relinquish your soul to it. To become it.Far beyond the world and its petty wars there exists a dimension of pure, malevolent magic: The Realm of Chaos. It is a terrible place, incomprehensible to the mortal mind. It whispers promises of power, but to behold it is to be seduced by it. To relinquish your soul to it. To become it.

The four Ruinous Powers rule over this place, ever seeking to slip their bonds and engulf the world in a tide of daemonic corruption. Nurgle, the plague god; Slaanesh, the lord of excess; Tzeentch, the changer of ways; and Khorne, the god of blood and slaughter.

On the border between the worlds, two mighty kingdoms stand sentinel: the stern warriors of Kislev and the vast empire of Grand Cathay. But each is beset by its own trials, and now both have cause to cross the threshold and send their armies into the Realm of Chaos.

The world stands on a precipice. A single push will plunge it into cataclysm. And there is one who schemes to achieve just that, an ancient figure who desires nothing less than to wield supreme power. But to succeed, he will need a champion...

The continual design evolution of one project split over three full games and dozens of expansions makes me hesitant to call Warhammer III a landmark strategy game in its own right. But looking back now at that very first trailer, it does feel like a promise kept.

The crown jewel of the trilogy, fresh and creative. Evil is rising, Good is dying but the ingenious campaign structure ensures there’s fun to be had for everyone. Well, except those of you who really like bears.

Total War: Warhammer 3 is the perfect culmination to a trilogy of generally excellent games. The third installment has both a must-play prologue and story campaign that is fast-paced and takes the gameplay in new directions. Long after the campaign is over, quality of life improvements and the new setting guarantee a long life for single-player skirmishes and multiplayer games. Total War: Warhammer 3 is a winner for both casual and hardcore Warhammer fans or any real-time strategy player looking for a game with depth.
  4. Total War: Warhammer 3 is the epic conclusion to a trilogy that has elevated the Creative Assembly formula.

Total War: Warhammer III is an excellent addition to the series and forms a great conclusion to the epic Warhammer trilogy. It has intriguing mechanics and gorgeous visuals, and it comes with a great variety of units, factions, and heroes, along with plenty of engaging battles. If you enjoy the Total War franchise and go in for a bit of Warhammer lore, this is an engaging experience with a lot of variety, and is not to be missed.

Creative Assembly stays true to Total War's series core - and that’s not to be understood negatively. It guarantees a strategy adventure with dozens of hours of exciting gameplay that brings some interesting new additions to the table: The hunt for the four demon souls. A racethrough the Chaos Realms that offers new dynamics to the Warhammer battlefield.

Warhammer 3 opens strongly. The narrative hook of the prologue sinks deep and the raft of tweaks to the strategic layer and tactical battles are all welcome. But it can't sustain the early momentum. The endgame objectives feel like a distraction, even though they're the main point, and serve only to diminish the entire campaign. The factions all have different reasons for wanting the endgame MacGuffin, but none of those motivations make a difference to how the campaign plays out. They're all trapped in the same Chaos Realm, going through the same motions, in pursuit of the same unsatisfying win conditions. In the end, Total War: Warhammer 3 is a good game--there just isn't a good reason to see it through to the bitter end.

Battles feel bland without the dreaded Blood DLC and the factions seem a lot more sparse on release than Total War: Warhammer 2's. Many many users reporting game breaking crashes and bugs, with myself reporting awful optimisation.

The game will be great, once the lacklustre campaign is replaced by Immortal Empires and the initial bugs quashed. Wait on this one.

Why would anyone want to play sieges 100%.What happened to land battles? As a campaign main CA really left us in the dirt. The Ai was bad in TWW1, TWW2, but its even worse in TWW3.
If you are a tabletop player you probably think its the greatest thing since sliced bread. But I am not a tabletop player. This game was made for multiplayer only it seems.

Things quicklyKnow how MMORPGs start out with a clean setting, but then they sell more and more flashy sh!t until it all becomes meaningless? Things quickly become over saturated when every new item has to outshine it’s predecessor. The new human Factions feel like that. Just an over saturation of gimmicks both in the form of way to magical units and excessive special abilities on the campaign map. The same is true for Chaos, but there it does actually work.
The siege battles are bad as well, but hopefully someone will mod it once they get mod support to work.

Constant crashes and low FPS. I have a top PC with RTX and can't even do 10 turns without crash. A great game that cannot be played. F**k you Denuvo. The saves don't work after each crash. So I have to go back 2-3 turns. Not worth my time and money Expand
