  1. Feb 11, 2022
It may look extremely basic, but if you give Vampire Survivors' clever one-stick shooter idea a chance to sink its teeth into you it might not let go for a while. [Early Access provisional score = 70]
  2. Jan 28, 2022
By its simple gameplay, Vampire Survivors is not a title that will revolutionize video games. However, its very addictive principle will captivate you for hours. [Early Access Score = 75]
  3. May 24, 2022
Vampire Survivors might look like Steam Early Access shovelware, but its depth and satisfying gameplay loop will keep you coming back for more. [Early Access Score = 80]
  4. Feb 10, 2022
Vampire Survivors is still in early access, of course, so one hopes that more depth and variety are on the way. The important stuff, though — that core blend of roguelike and bullet hell shoot-em-up — is already beyond solid. With a bit more meat on the bone, Vampire Survivors could be ready to take its place among Dead Cells, Hades and the other greats that preceded it.
  5. The real question isn’t whether you should pick up Vampire Survivors while it’s £2 (as the price is set to go up); it’s whether you should wait until it’s finished before you jump in. “The full version will have more characters, stages, weapons, RPG elements, and new major features like Story mode and Arcanas”, says the Steam blurb. I’m not sure what either of those last two entail, but I know I’ll be back to find out. [Early Access Review]
