There is so much fun in Wreckfest. A racing "deathmatch" which originated on the top demolition technology is full of crashes, tension, but also humor and DIY work. [Issue#287]

A deceptively realistic racing game that doesn't care if you want to ignore the details and just smash every car on the track.

Wreckfest is a great successor to the Destruction Derby legacy. A game with personality and fun, with the best recreation of damages and accidents, and with excellent physics.

If you liked FlatOut, you'll love Wreckfest. Drily presented, but wonderfully brutal full-contact racing with impressive physics.

Wreckfest is a very solid game that is been published after five years of early access. The impressive physics, the wonderful damage system and a plenty of competitions make Wreckfest a must have for this summer.

Wreckfest is a great racing game that knows how to find the balance between Destruction Derby-like matches and more traditional races. It lacks some more modes and better performance, but it’s an enjoyable game overall.

Wreckfest lacks coherent vision. It feels as if Bugbear Interactive, during all these long years of development hell, still haven’t figured out what game exactly they were trying to create.

It's like Dirt Rally and BeamNG had a hillbilly child. Excellent damage model, brilliant wheel handling but fun with gamepad too

Brilliant, just brilliant! Fantastic physics, a balanced mix of simulation and arcade. Suits for everyone. Best game I have ever played.

As a child - mostly because it was more of an arcade than of a race. Maturing made me switch my tastes somewhat so Wreckfest looks like a matured Flatout game to me. Tho it lacs fantastic soundtrack and a tiny bit of a story comparing to FO1/2, so its only 8/10 for me.
Anyway, Bugbear are moving in the right direction.

It is still in early access phase like other reviews have noted, but it is still a multiplayer racing game that is lots of fun. Nothing like getting out and banging some cars around. Some of the current faults the game has is the aggressive AI, and sometimes poor control from the players input. But other than that it is fun. For how slow it's development fun, there can be times when you don't want to play because you just want the next update fix to come out. But the developers are constantly working to make it better with each update! Expand

I was thinking this was like flatout but its only vaguely similar at best, if it was below £10 I would consider it worth it but the game as itI was thinking this was like flatout but its only vaguely similar at best, if it was below £10 I would consider it worth it but the game as it is is just far too limited and stops being fun quite quickly with similar looking tracks that dont have shortcuts or any variation along with a limited roster of cars.
