Although not terrible complicated or intricate, its still a great game with a good interface and lots of scary stuff.
-
Although it isnt the best game in the world, Extermination really strikes a chord in me for being such a good evolution of the horror adventure genre.
-
It's mechanics and gameplay may annoy you, but if you liked John Carpenter's version of "The Thing," you should be able to buy into (and enjoy) the storyline.
-
Unless you have a lot of extra fifties lying around, spend your money elsewhere.
-
It's unoriginal and very short (I was able to complete it in a couple of days without really trying to beat it), but a gas while it lasts and home to some of the nicest-looking and best-renderd FMV cinemas your puny little eyes have ever seen.
-
Next Generation MagazineDifferentiates itself as a faster-paced action title, and holds its own with a few minor problems. [Nov 2001, p.100]
-
Survival horror veterans will be drawn to Extermination right up to the very end, but casual gamers might find this title hard to swallow because of its inconsistent presentation, low replay value and mediocre story.

JohnV.Nov 12, 2001I think this game is freakin awesome. I love the marine corps and that gave the game a huge boost. Great job to the creators.
