  1. Even though there are some mistakes here and there (let's say it's youth related), F1 2010 probably remains one of the best F1 racing games ever. It's reminiscent of the old Formula One on the original PlayStation, and even better, of the legendary F1 '97. But a thousand times more comprehensive and realistic. Its career mode grants it an enormous playtime expectancy, and racing over the internet or against the clock is a delight best served with long evenings to fully enjoy it. Well, that's it : F1 2010... what else ?

F1 2010 is fantastic. You'll feel cheated at times, but no other racer makes one overtake seem like popping champagne corks on the podium, or makes you feel like Stirling Moss when you cross the line in seventh. Sure, it's cruel: but it's one of the most terrifying and intense racers ever made as a direct result. [Oct 2010, p.96]
  3. If you're looking for a racing game that will grow with you over the coming months, F1 2010 is that game. It's not perfect, but it does more than enough right to make it a non-brainer for most – utterly brilliant.

F1 2010 is a racing game that includes the entire Formula 1 license. It knows how to deliver the complete experience of Formula 1 and is without doubt the best of its kind.

F1 2010 is gorgeous, frighteningly fast, and offers aggressive racing in a packed field. [Dec 2010, p.85]

Taken as a whole, F1 2010 is a maddening experience as, in spite of the numerous flaws it undoubtedly has, it is capable of throwing up some of the most intense, exciting racing moments you are likely to find in a game.

Excellent game. If you like F1 and racing games, this is sure to satisfy. Online play is cool, only down side are the idiots who like crashingExcellent game. If you like F1 and racing games, this is sure to satisfy. Online play is cool, only down side are the idiots who like crashing into everyone on the track - go play Nascar if you like crashing so much! And it would have been nice to be able to view your season results in carrer mode. Other than that the driving is awesome, graphics amazing, AI very well balanced without being predictable and loads of game options : career, championship, online, race weekend, time trial, etc... My fave game for months and months to come! Expand

I like winning against the boys who like to play bumper cars. Although I have been destroyed by some of the elites out there, I acknowledge that most people I've played have no clue how to overtake someone without causing an incident, I'll say that there are people who just don't need to. These gladiators just pressure you into a mistake and you have to settle for 2nd place. Hahahaha but I still have the most online victories ever in f1 2010 (PS3). I know that makes me sound like way too **** but in fact jay7090 number 436, with 6243 victories uses his brakes!. I'd like to say my neighbors to the south in the U. S. race very clean while the Spanish race like **** Why is this? Does this whole nation believe that they are in fact Fernando Alonso? I get along fine with everyone else. Well, almost everyone, I am winning without an expensive steering wheel. Overall the game has it's flaws. P.I.T. is far too easy to fall victim to and the top speeds on some straights are too low. Anyways, I look forward to using D.R.S. in F1 2011 and I'm sure that it will make overtaking cleaner online. Oh and by the way at the start, take turn one at Spa in 1st gear and hug the wall on the right to overtake everyone. Seriously it like always works provided you don't get smashed by some R-tard. Otherwise you may have trouble warming up to it. I play it on Expert and have AI set to Legendary and the game is really hard. Online people crash at the first corner.

Despite being a difficult game, it caters nicely to Sim and F1 fans. The game has a lot of detail, but some graphical bugs and other nuances hinder the game from being a lot more fun. I'd Rent it for a day and see if it's your cup of tea. For me personally, I really like the game, even though it's really difficult.

The only reason I'm not giving a 10 is the lack of stats, all I can see is the points tables, even F1 06 on PSP had previous race results and a trophy room, and even post race trophy celebrations, which this game does not have. Saying that I do like the post race interview features, and multiplayer is bags of fun, especially when racing lines are off and nobody knows when to brake (lets just say there are lots of crashes). Overall though I like this game a lot, and recommend it to any F1 fan! Expand

They have really honed the racing experience over the years, and F1 really has that robust, realistic Codemasters feel to it. And boy am I glad to have those instant replays in there. The realism doesn't stop on the track either - the supporting events while off-track are quite clever and interesting. But it doesn't make you feel overwhelmed either - the settings are intuitive, and you can do things as quickly or meticulously as you like. Very shmick. Expand

The visuals, the sounds of the cars, the presentation, everything is there. The game seems to capture that feeling of glamour that F1 has. The weather effects are truly spectacular. Unfortunately the game fails in its core, the gameplay. Apart from the numerous bugs the game shipped with (although most of them are fixed after the patch release) the game is really frustrating to drive with a controller. I can't say if its the same with a wheel as I don't own one but the one most annoying thing about the driving is that the car spin outs are completely WRONG and mostly RANDOM. Yes, you'll find yourself braking late at a turn, leave the throttle, take the turn and BANG you'll spin out just by turning at a very low speed without throttle. It's extremely frustrating to try to make good consistent laps only to have a random spin out and lose places/time. This really ruins it for me, maybe it won't for you but I had to warn everyone interested in buying this game. Expand
