    Despite the game's age and thanks to the graphical update, the colorful environments still look beautiful, just don't expect any miracles from a game that's almost ten years old. The only thing that gets in the way of the fun you're having is the sometimes jittery camera. [May 2012, p.86]

    It's a shame that Rayman 3 HD is little more than an upscale of its initial release; it features the same models and the same wayward camera, which reduces its appeal when compared to more modern platformers. However, it still has bags of imagination and these flaws don't entirely diminish its appeal, only dent it. Rayman 3 HD is still a great platformer – it's just one that's showing its age.

    Its set in a bizarre world, with a straightforward story, quirky humor, and - some might say - it's trying too hard to break the fourth wall, but I actually had fun playing Rayman 3 HD.

    The changes from the series' traditions and the usual gameplay design may put off some, but fans of the Super Mario 64 era of platformers should very much like Rayman 3's gameplay experience. Ubisoft did a solid job of handling the game technically and brightening up the visuals for the high-definition era as well.

    The dialogue and voice acting is also well done, though can get repetitive. What lets the game down is the camera, which is a big problem as it can hinder progress and leave you frustrated.

    The textures are cleaner, the animation's smooth, and the humor remains, but gameplay is still rooted in 2003.

    Rayman 3 HD suffers from an obvious aging. Nevertheless it remains a fun and enjoyable platform. Especially recommended for those who did not played it in 2003.

    Played Rayman 1 as a kid, loved it. Played Rayman 2 as a teenager, loved it. Played Origins and Legends as an adult, loved 'em. Finally gotPlayed Rayman 1 as a kid, loved it.     take origins its fun to play there is great gameplay and the game is just a great game legends take what made origins good and make it all over again rayman 1 was a great start for the series and ray man 2 took the first game and made it 3d with good gameplay rayman 3 is not the way to go i would like another 3d rayman game but ubisoft if you read this pls learn from the mistakes from rayman 3 it can get fun but stil not the best way to enjoy rayman    … Full Review »
