Oct 23, 2015Even though it stands as more of a refinement over its immediate predecessor than a genuine leap, this latest entry in the BlazBlue series stays true to form by overwhelming players with a deliciously deep combat system, brilliant cast of characters and a veritable avalanche of content.
-
Jul 23, 2015Otherwise, BlazBlue remains the slick, fast, competitive and vibrant fighting game that we saw in previous versions.
-
Jul 14, 2015Overall, Blazblu Chronophantasma Extend is a must for anyone who is into their fighting games and this is right up there with anything on the PS4.
-
Nov 11, 2015One of the best 2d fighters out there, almost perfect in every aspect. There are some slight issues like its lack of cross play with PS Vita or the style of its soundtrack, but beyond that, and excellent game for those who can see beyond Street Fighter and Tekken.
-
Jul 8, 2015While BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend could've used more new content (and more balance in the way it tells a story), it’s still a worthwhile brawler for PS4 and Xbox One. That goes double for fans that want to get the full gist of what BlazBlue's universe has to offer – this is as expansive as fan service as the series gets. At least, for now.
-
Jun 30, 2015Those who already own Chrono Phantasma can probably wait a bit, but if you’re new to the franchise, there is no better jumping off point than this game.
-
Nov 2, 2015Simply put, one of the best 2D fighting games for PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and even PS Vita consoles. A magnificent game in every aspect.
-
Oct 26, 2015While there's little to recommend upgrading from the PlayStation 3 version of the game, BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend is a confident execution of a title that knows its strengths.
-
Aug 11, 2015BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend is simply the biggest, largest and deepest entry in the franchise, although it's now up to its fan to decided if it's worth their time or if they should just wait for the inevitable Central Fiction Extend coming next year.
-
Jul 13, 2015It's the same brick wall of a problem Netherrealm Studios has been running into since Mortal Kombat vs. DC, of trying to add depth where it's mostly unnecessary.
