Its gorgeously lush visuals are quite simply among the best ever seen in a game, offering an object lesson in how stylisation has the power to trump photorealism even in the 4K age. Some players will lack the time or patience to put in the effort that any heavyweight role-playing game demands – this is a 50-hour adventure at least – but it puts forward an irresistible case for your attention. As video games are once again weathering ignorance-fuelled attacks that paint them as universally gun-centric, violent and nihilistic, Ni no Kuni is a timely counterpoint.
If you like Studio Ghibli, you need to play this game.
The visuals are stunning, combat fells good and the story is great.
Ni No Kuni 2 is my favorite Game overall.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is the RPG adventure that's like shooting sunshine right into your veins. So clear your calendar, because Level-5 is about fill it with monsters, magic, and city management.
While topics and storytelling might be a tad too childish and the challenge level of this fairy tale is a little too low, it nonetheless is hard to escape the magic of this beautiful JRPG, with its varied mission and level design.
Ni No Kuni II is truly a tale, deliberately naïve and full of colorful characters. The combination of different genres, JRPG, management and RTS, works well, as each style is interwoven with the others.
The in-game reference to Facebook emphasizes how over-cluttered and unfocused Ni no Kuni II is, as this is a solid action-RPG buried under a steady stream of fetch quests and cookie-clicker-like town-building.
Ni no Kuni 2 is a game with many addicting elements that I really enjoyed. Especially the city building part. While this is kind of the opposite of what this game is about, it was kind of like fulfilling a power fantasy for me. Founding your own little kingdom and making it a world power.
However the combat felt really unpolished. Enemy scaling, especially with higher difficulties easily leads to you getting oneshot. And bosses just feel spongy. This encourages strategies like abusing ranged attacks and poison, using gear with a death save ability or to instantly revive whenever a party member dies. Personally I also found that many attacks lack clear telegraphing, or I just didn't really get the hang of dodging in this game.
I enjoyed the rest of the game a lot, but combat is a major part of it. And especially near the end, when you start maxing out the other game mechanics, it can get tedious or repetitive.
+ construção do reino
Beyond the pretty graphics and legitimately good music lies a shell **** with uninspiring cliche story, shallow characters and boring gameplay (yes even for jrpg). This would be a perfect game for a 6 year old kids, but pass on it if you like original stories with deep and complex character development - it simply does not exist here.
