With simple asymmetric gameplay, this game is great for kids of all ages, and a worthy tie-in to the movie. While the unskippable trailer is a poke in the eye, there’s nothing better than the cackling of a five year old while he mercilessly throws his would-be helpers around a submarine full of bombs.

I was captivated by the game’s charm and challenge to a degree I didn’t expect. I like how levels steadily introduce new challenges and problems to deal with that make getting the best scores a real endurance test but the difficulty does spike towards the end of the story to an almost unfair degree. If you really want to get the maximum number of stars in the game (and get a trophy for it) you’re going to need other people to tackle the complex and devious cabin designs in the late game and bonus levels. Also, having more people around to play with means more screaming and yelling while the captain cackles away in between bouts of shouting out for more plungers. How is that never not fun? This movie-based game, to my surprise, has a lot more going for it than initially expected.

XR Games has ensured that should your home be empty and everyone’s busy you can still play the title in solo mode. But to be honest you’re best sticking to a solid single-player adventure for those times. Save The Angry Birds Movie 2: VR Under Pressure for what its good at, all-round multiplayer enjoyment suitable for most ages and abilities.

The Angry Birds Movie 2 VR: Under Pressure is a fun cooperative VR title. Without others to play with the controls are a bit cumbersome and the challenge very high, but with other players working together to take care of specific jobs this is one of the few games that makes VR sociable.

This came as quite a surprise. Movie tie-ins nowadays are mostly cheap cash-ins, but Under Pressure VR takes the Overcooked formula, gives it a VR spin and, finally, delivers a fun experience that is at its best when playing with your friends.

It’s a perfectly solid local co-op game that can be worth a few runs with some friends. Is it great? Nah. Does it have issues? Certainly. But don’t be like me and just turn it away because of its dubious origins. More VR games should look at catering to the local co-op crowd anyway.

Playing The Angry Birds Movie 2 VR: Under Pressure feels a bit like treading water, and while it has some amusing moments there isn’t enough to keep this one afloat for every long.

I didn't expect much when my friends insisted that we play together last week. By level 2 I was hooked ... and there are 30 levels! It was so fun to interact with my 3 friends and work as a team to complete each level. To my surprise, it's a really challenging game, makes you think and really keeps you on your toes, which I love! This is definitely not just a kids game - great for people of all ages. You have to try it for yourself and see what I mean! :) Expand

I haven't seen many VR games apart from the PlayRoom that allows the VR player playing with their other friends -- together, in the same room! It's surprisingly a lot of fun playing with friends sitting next to each other, work as a team, beating the challengeful levels. It's also a good option to show off your fancy VR set up to your friends and family and invite them play together with you.

The game has a smooth gameplay, good looking graphics, recognisable sound tracks. It doesn't seem like related to the angry birds movie that much... but hey, the characters are funny and adorable and your kids would very much like to love them!

I bought a PSVR a few months back but it's been packed away for some time now because it's such an isolating experience. Not anymore!
My wife and kids aren't big gamers so getting them to try it was the first step. I managed to convince them all to give it a go (I was the pilot to start with) and boy am I glad they did. It's an incredible amount of fun and uses VR perfectly. My wife tried Isle of Pigs on psvr but was a bit let down by the fact it was just the same as on the phone/tablet. This is a completely different game to what you're used to with Angry Birds, because it's for VR - which is what I love about it. We get so into it when we play. This sort of stuff should be given to companies that want to help with teambuilding - no joke!!>
Anyway, to sum up - we all love playing it and it's brought us together as a family. More of these types of games please :)

While most VR games only involve one player while leaving others who may be in the room to spectate, Angry Birds Movie 2 VR: Under Pressure manages to find a way to cooperatively involve up to three other players.. and more importantly, keep them yearning for more.

If you own a PlayStation VR setup and are interested interested in a fun, teamwork central game, this is definitely a must have for you.
