This is a game that offers such poignant and relevant social commentary, and after many years of being either PC-exclusive, or released in a very watered down fashion on game consoles, it’s great to see that this great experiment in giving us the tools to play around with humanity is finally on console in a full and unabridged way.

The Sims 4 comes to consoles with the best of the version released for PC in 2014. It does not offer any free content besides the Happy Holidays package , but this can be complemented with the best of the catalog of packs and expansions from the day the game goes on sale. If you have not played the game yet, here's your chance.

The Sims 4 comes on home consoles with all the goods and all the drawbacks of the PC version.

The possibilities when it comes to edition that a game like The Sims 4 offers are really interesting, although it is obviously easier to handle and more comfortable to play in PC. After three years in the shelves, EA could have launched the game with some more content. However, those who already know the franchise know what it offers and this iteration of the game may appeal only to those who weren't able to play the PC version.

EA has managed to successfully adapt the UI to the PS4 controller, and even if sometimes it isn't as intuitive as it should, it's quite accessible. The Sims experience remains, but if you can choose a version, keep in mind this one is three years behind content-wise.

A 1:1 conversion of the PC game that suffers problems with the control, camera and that arrives without the possibility of adding content created by users.

I might have been able to get past the mind-numbing monotony of this game, if it weren’t so poorly designed for consoles.

My biggest concern is the lack of animations and depth for those the game has with DLC using base games animations for the features they bring. Gameplay is boring without anything exciting on it. Packs are expensive and lacking on content. Expand
