    GAMEPLAY
Reimagined gameplay creates fundamental advances that you’ll feel across every mode in FIFA 22. A goalkeeper rewrite brings more composure and consistency to the most important position on the pitch, new ball physics reimagine every pass, shot, and goal, and explosive sprint lets you feel the acceleration of the game’s quickest players.
    • Goalkeeper Rewrite - A brand new goalkeeper system brings a new level of intelligence to the last line of defence, unlocking more reliable shot-stopping and smarter decision-making between the posts. In FIFA 22, goalkeeper positioning personality replicates the different styles of keepers throughout the game - from the lightning-fast reflexes of world-class shot stoppers like Jan Oblak to the aggression of sweeper keepers such as Ederson.
    • True Ball Physics - Real-world data imported into FIFA 22 takes the game’s ball physics to a new level of realism. Tuned parameters including speed, swerve, air drag, air resistance, ground friction, and rolling friction mean every touch, trap, shot, volley, pass, and dribble will look, move, and fly like the real thing.
    • Explosive Sprint - A new gameplay mechanic that changes the dynamic of one-on-one situations, Explosive Sprint gives you more control over acceleration when dribbling or defending. Lure opponents in and choose when to unleash your full speed to get away from the defender as you drive your team forward in attack.

FIFA 22 is undoubtedly a step forward for the franchise, and the new Hypermotion engine on new-gen consoles is totally worth it, though it’s pretty clear it’s not everybody’s cup of tea. EA clearly has a lot of things to polish in FIFA 22, and the first update that is already live on PC is the living proof the company is very committed to doing this in the short term.

FIFA 22 is the most enjoyable football title in years thanks to revamped player AI and gameplay mechanics that offer unprecedented realism on the pitch. Off the pitch, EA still has some work to do, but new additions to Career Mode and match days somewhat make up for Ultimate Team’s egregious tactics.

As a football game, FIFA 22 is very continuist. It doesn’t offer anything spectacular or revolutionary in order to make you stand up from your seat, but it takes profit of its previous knowledge to provide some nice matches.

Unlike last years release, there aren't too many noticable issues that need improving on either. EA have been afforded more time to get this game to where they need it to be, and they seem to have done exactly that. On the other hand though, there are still modes with untapped potential that EA have to put more focus on in order to appeal to their full market of players. It's a strong release from EA, one which will keep them at the top of the footballing sim market, but without a leading competitor to challenge them, that isn't awfully difficult.

Despite a full year since the launch of the new console generation, FIFA 22 doesn't offer anything groundbreaking, on or off the pitch. The changes are largely minor and exclusive features are not worth fretting over. It plays a solid game of football, as always, but we're still left waiting for a true next-gen leap.

FIFA 22 has improved the feel and smoothness of actions, but there are almost no changes in the game mode and gameplay. The reduction of stand-alone content makes it not very suitable as the first FIFA entry for newcomers.

FIFA 22 offers a lot of new elements on next-gen. Gameplay is finally going in a clear direction and provides a clear picture of what to expect from this iteration of FIFA. Even though the gameplay finally seems fine, there are quite a few problems. Career is near unplayable thanks to loads of bugs and glitches, Ultimate Team is still a pay-to-win fest and a lot of modes are clearly less important than cash cow Ultimate Team, which is understandable, but still frustrating.

TheFor the first time in the Fifa's history, here we have a real football simulator. The pace is lower than ever. The physics. The Keepers. The Nets. The sound of everything. More difficult to improve. More difficult to score. More difficult to dominate the game. And this is the best thing of Fifa 22. A videogame for adults. For people with experience. With courage. With passion for football. If you love football, congratulations. This is your game. Expand

ItSo I did rate this game previous as ok but now after the updates it's awful, unplayerbul you can not pass run create anything in the fame. It has massive delay even in offline mode and just bugs everywhere. GK are superhuman the AI just cheats and the career mode has not been touched for another year, they think adding create a club is something new. Pro clubs good luck getting into a game mine always bugs out and say no game could be found. Not even gonna try volts no one wants that game mode but EA waist it's time on it so that they can excuse the bad gameplay in the other game modes Allround a crap game again. Expand
