Gas Station Simulator feels like a weird game to want to play, but you want to play it. Like most simulators, the tasks at hand are menial and repetitive, but it’s generally a fun game to keep progressing through. The upgrades and tools are well placed to keep you from feeling like you’re dealing with too much busy work, and the humor the game injects keeps things lighthearted. Although, if we could just get rid of Dennis, I wouldn’t complain.
Overall, it hits its niche. It lands on the edges of the sweet spot for modern simulators. It manages to be fun and atmospheric. It’s a hard day’s work, but someone has to do it.
Upon diving into the world of "Gas Station Simulator", one cannot help but be immediately ensnared by its incredibly engaging gameplay. The game, in its unique and unexpected way, commands your attention and before you know it, hours have flown by as you find yourself deeply immersed in the world of running a gas station. The strong sense of progression, coupled with the freedom of choice in running your gas station, contributes greatly to the game's compelling charm.
A significant part of the game's allure lies in its distinct sense of humor. A careful balance is struck between subtle wit, wry irony, and laugh-out-loud moments. The developers evidently intended for players to have as much fun as possible, creating a delightful atmosphere that persists throughout the game. It feels like every task, every customer interaction, and every station upgrade has been laced with a comedic touch that will keep you grinning from ear to ear.
Despite the title, the "Gas Station Simulator" is more than just about managing a fuel station. The game offers a multitude of tasks, creating a veritable smorgasbord of activities. Players are kept on their toes, as they juggle between restocking shelves, cleaning, refueling, and even renovating the station. The game's tasks system is highly rewarding and creates a robust and ever-changing gameplay experience.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of managing a busy station, "Gas Station Simulator" manages to be an incredibly relaxing game. There's something oddly **** about the simple routine tasks that you perform in your station. The game’s peaceful ambient noise and simple, clean graphics also contribute to creating a calming atmosphere that allows players to unwind and lose themselves in this virtual world.
In conclusion, "Gas Station Simulator" is an oddly charming and engrossing game that takes a mundane concept and transforms it into an exciting gaming experience. With its captivating gameplay, generous dollops of humor, a plethora of tasks to keep players engaged, and a soothing gaming environment, it is a true gem in the gaming world.
Gas Station Simulator has its flaws and in the end just isn’t deep enough to keep you interested for long. But if you like your simulators, you’ll get your 10 hours of fun out of it.
Gas Station Simulator is vastly better than a lot of the simulator games that are available on Steam. It's a charming and occasionally buggy experience, but one that allows the player to find a little bit of peace in a daily grind.
Gas Station Simulator has bugs in the same way Skyrim has bugs: yeah, it’s a buggy game, but riding your horse vertically through the mountains became iconic, if not beloved. I feel like the same thing has happened here with Gas Station Simulator — there’s just so much personality that even the issues are charming. I don’t know why certain stock doesn’t move or why some cars pile up near the entrance or hover in midair, but I know the solution in both cases is calling aliens to save my business. If you want an insanely addicting core loop and don’t mind a little dust in the machinery, Gas Station Simulator will guzzle up an entire weekend before you know it.
Very rough game, in terms of the game's performance on PC. The game is missing functionality such as a windowed mode. Game also features assets from other games made by this developer copy and pasted into this game with no graphical changes. Seems very rushed. Gameplay is decent though and it is addicting to level up your gas station.
At the beginning this game looks rather attractive & have its own sharm. There are an attractive plot & kind of story at the beginning. It makes even lacks of game design not such remarkable ( as an example music & animation timings don`t match each other, simple customers & vehicles models etc.). However it's interesting to reconstruct & serve customers. At the gas station level 3 the game gets completely unbalanced & unrespectable to your time. You will do everything in a hurry: check the goods on the shelf`s/ order goods/ serve customers/clean the floor/throw away garbage/open warehouse doors for delivery/place goods on the shelf`s & so on depending on the amount of goods types you have. I didn't bought 3 level goods as I didn't have enough time per game day for routine. As warehouse capacity is rather low it's practically impossible to order 2 types of goods at the same time. Each customer leaves a lots of garbage up to 30% trash can. The walls become covered with dirt, in this way, you will repaint them in 3 or 4 days. I didn't have time even for cars repairs at the garage. Ok, we are allowed to hire an employee. I had an 400 $ daily income average. An employee will charge 80 $ average for 8h + 200$ for long hours working time per day. Anyway you even need to send employee to a break MANUALlY!!! As a result after 26h I have deleted this game. What was the reason? Dev`s updated the night sky models recently, but you won't even spot the other common models as you were running in a duties all the time this game. Yes, you are allowed to close a gas station for some time, but what the interest to watch for an empty business? I used this option only when bus arrives to avoid that crowd.
SummaryGas Station Simulator is all about renovating, expanding and running a gas station along a highway in the middle of a desert. Freedom of choice and multiple approaches to run your business and dealing with pressure are key ingredients in this game.
Buy an abandoned gas station in the middle of nowhere and restore it to its former glory....
