Robot Squad Simulation X isn’t a great game but still playable to a degree. Unfortunately riddled with bad mechanics and average design, this title will see you getting more frustrated than having any real enjoyment. A great idea, just poorly executed.
Robot Squad Simulator X rarely finds moments of fun, and it's a simulator experience that probably never should have been released on the Xbox One in its current state.
Playing Robot Squad Simulator X is a lot like watching a robot fail video although it manages to be far less entertaining.
Robot Squad Simulator X on Xbox One is not a game I can recommend to anyone. It seems a shame that a potentially good idea, with genuinely tense gameplay to be recreated, has been squandered like this. The driving of the robots is awful, the arm mechanics really suck, and the rest of the game is simply shoddy and badly designed.
