Compared to the rest of its shooty ilk, this is among the best of the bunch. [Dec 2012, p.111]
For only three bucks, you can get a good two or three hours out of it, and PSP owners can take the game on the go. The controls may be wonky, but you really can't lose in the game as long as you keep hitting the infinite quarter button. If you're into those old school shooters, you may like Time Soldiers. Other players, may want to find a different game to play that may have more streamlined controls.
I would certainly purchase Gang Wars before Time Soldiers. BUT! If I was looking for an arcade shooter with a large amount of challenge to it, then I would probably hit up Time Soldiers.

Summary Pilot a spaceship, collect various speed and weapon items to take down a multitude of enemies, and restore peace to the galaxy in this vertical scrolling shooter released by SNK in 1989.
