One of the earliest NES games can be found on Virtual Console, and it's a wonder this franchise didn't spawn more titles. So much potential! It gets hard by the time you reach the second level and some enemies are very annoying. But Kid Icarus has something about it that I just really enjoy.

An utter classic NES title that deserves to be up there with games that involve a similar style of gameplay such as Metroid or Castlevania. It is a crime that it never took off like most other NES titles with a similar style of gameplay. Not to mention its difficulty is pretty fair when compared to other NES games.
