Octodad is a clever game that is fun in the same sense something like Goat Simulator is. It is hilarity, physics-based mayhem that is entirely random. The difference here is that the developers tried to streamline it with actual objectives and level progression, which can lead to frustration.
  2. A short but sweet adventure title with a likeable deep-sea protagonist. Similar to an animated family movie, it possesses buckets of humour and spades of heart.

It tells the story of an octopus dad who is struggling with his family but tries his best to please them. The game itself is really nice. I loved the music, but the story was the main thing for me. It was a nice family story and they managed to cram a bit of story in there for a short game. I also liked the fact that the Octodad Shorts were included upon release of the game. I also had a few problems with the game. The main storyline was pretty easy and I breezed through through it. If you want more of a challenge I suggest you play the game with multiplayer. The Octodad Shorts were much more challenging than the main storyline and I spent quite a while with the Octodad Shorts. There was also another problem that might seem small but was pretty frustrating for me. Sometimes Octodad's arm would glitch through an item and be stuck their for a while. I wasn't too frustrated at the start but It kept happening again and again. All in all Octodad: Dadliest Catch was a great game aside for the challenge levels and the glitches. Though I experienced problems with the game I strongly await more Octodad content to come out soon. Expand
