Have you ever played a game that's so good that the simple knowledge of its existence is enough to put a smile on your face? This is one of those games. Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon is a shining example of what this genre is capable of, and it comes as close to perfection as any recent adventure game has.
Продолжение второй части оказалось также на высоте, геймплей невероятный, история затягивает и не отпускает до финальных титров, головоломки простые, но иногда требуют время для разгадки. Если вы не играли, то стоит наверстать упущенное время. 10/10
It's an memorable game, with beautiful graphic's, well-written dialouges and a grabbing story. The story-telling is pretty good, it's never boring! Just cool. I also love the kind of humor George and Nicole has! Likeable guys :-)
George’s finely crafted witticisms and Nico’s finely crafted, er, investigative skills make the game a pleasure to play; moreover, the plot is engrossing and really pushes you to keep gaming in an effort to uncover more of the nefarious scheme being perpetrated.
Many of the puzzles are somewhat straightforward in design, and while ensuring players are less likely to hit those infuriating brick walls typically found in the genre's great titles, your input into the proceedings once again tends to feel slightly shallow and less rewarding than before. [Christmas 2003, p.108]
The game still looks pretty good in 2021, but a camera movement and controlling of characters killed all enjoyment of the game.
If you REALLY feel, you need to experience a story of George and Nico, be prepared that from time to time you will start hate yourself for playing this part of Broken Sword.
The only thing what pushed me to finish it was a need of the feeling of the completion, but in the end it wasn't that sweet as I suppose it would be
Poor control system.
Iffy graphics (some ok at best, some rather poor).
Got this when it came out but I never finished it. I recently started it again but found the controls so horrible, and the puzzles annoying, that I ended up watching a series of walkthroughs on YouTube (from half-way though Prague) BS1 & 2 were almost perfect (even the directors cut) but this is less than average
Low rating because of the EXTREMELY POOR controls. The difficulty of the game is figuring out the default controls. There are few options to customize the controls. You will spend the first hour trying to figure out the controls to make your charter do the obvious. I quite playing and uninstalled this game because of the extreme frustration factor in the key controls. The game play is VERY basic, and not fun at all.
SummaryThe murder of an underground hacker in Paris is just the beginning of this extraordinary adventure for George Stobbart and Nico Collard in the highly anticipated Broken Sword III. Powerful seismic events are shaking the world. An Ancient Conspiracy, the Secrets of the Templars, and a fiendish source of pure Evil are responsible... [The A...
