It’s an interactive metaphor for grief, and all those strange, complex emotions that all seem get balled into one when you’re grieving. RiME is a beautiful game in so many ways, but this is what makes it truly special.
In pairing back its design and focusing on only a few key elements, the studio has created an uncommonly beautiful, open-hearted game. This game was able to touch my heart. The story is deep and pretty, it has been made with a lot of soul. It has **** a beautiful soundtrack that I still listen many times, and for sure I will continue listening in the future.

Rime is an amazing game filled with wonder and **** is beautifully crafted with puzzles and action. I will say this game gets very good after the first part of the story but after finishing it, it will make you want to play it again. Not to mention the amazing graphics and art style in the game it creates a sense of peace for the player. The story in this game is one of the best ive seen in the game even though there is little voice acting. Which can be a good thing at times to make the player figure out whats going on in this world around him and what this place the boy is in actually is. Ok now all that is out of the way go buy this game it shouldn’t cost too much now and go have fun!
Rime is an exceptional game. It nails almost everything it tries to do, from the excellent graphics and heartwrenching music, to the interesting puzzles and engaging story beats. What really sets the game apart though, is the environments, with all their stories and secrets. Thus, Rime is a truly spectacular game experience that deserves to be played.
Tequila Works’ efforts these past few years have delivered a game that’s full of beguiling charm and beauty, one that can stand up to many of the comparisons with some of the most fondly remembered games of the last decade. It doesn’t always meet those high standards, but Rime has been well worth the wait.
Rime's artistry is unquestionable. Each world is enchanting in its own way, from the naturalistic peace of the first to the abstract doom of the last. Its soundtrack is similarly beautiful, capable of evoking wonder, tension, and fear in equal measure. But when compared to its influences like Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and Journey, it doesn't hold up too well. Consistent navigation problems, some frustrating puzzles, fiddly platforming, and severe frame rate dips make Rime feel like a well-dressed tribute act.
This game reminded me of Journey. The music and story line is great, the only reason I had stopped playing this on PS4 was due to bad performance. But on PS5 it was smooth as butter. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Graphically really pretty, solid story, and puzzles that are largely put something somewhere, move it, put it somewhere else, but occasionally get a little obscure. Overall a solid adventure that "encourages exploration" with a LOT of collectables. Doesn't really stand out in very crowded genre, but pleasant few hours nonetheless

I'm curious if these 10/10 scores have actually played the game the whole way through?
Sure, the look/style etc, is beautiful, but the gameplay is very bland. I love Journey and Brothers, and have played both several times - but Rime has very little engagement until the last 10 minutes; everything else borders on feeling like a chore.
Only twice did I feel a sense of wonderment, and unfortunately, it never called me to explore the world beyond the task at hand.
I had really been looking forward to Rime since its very first reveal, so it's been a bit of a downer that is turned out so "blah."
Played it for 10 minutes was bored out of my skull, there was no establishment of anything just started as boring as it possibly could, didn't know what to do, where to go. Not wasting my time. Glad i didn't pay money for it.
