This free-to-play 'build-your-own-game'-game is pretty straight forward. The public beta is almost identical to the end product. There are already some amazing home build games to play, but if you want to build your own levels, you will probably be spending some money.
Amazing game, I've spent days creating lord of the rings maps for me and my friends to play. The koding can take a bit to get used to, but luckily there's a million tutorials online to help.
MK77Q-4HGH3-CKMK7-DWV9H-CR26Z is the code that will give you 3 Days of Spark Premium (Double Spark XP, Credit Game and Champion XP), The Nomadic Warrior Character, The Nomad's Sword and the Stone Sword. better hurry it can only be used once.
Very good game, 10/10!
For the creators out there, check out the free version to see if you can come to grips with the system, but dive in to the Starter pack if you want a wider range of elements to jumpstart your creative endeavors.
After playing Project Spark for an extended period of time, I must say I was disappointed. A game built around creation makes it frustratingly difficult to do so.
The most powerful game creation tool ever released for a console, but it’s less accessible than it could be and the endless microtransactions leave a predictably sour taste.
You get out of Spark what you put into it. If you want to just mess around with terrain editing and prop placement, that is simple fun. If you want to make your dream game or an homage to your favorite RTS, that will take more of a commitment. The DLC model takes more than one sentence to explain, but in the end, with everything obtainable for $0, if desired, it is difficult to imagine a more fair system which would also allow for ongoing development. With the development team staying on board to continue producing more features, content, and general improvements, it is fair to say that the launch is just the beginning, and not the end, of Project Spark.
This game had so much potential. The first time I played this game it certainly impressed me. The first mode I played was essentially designing your own campaign/ story ie. you can choose whether your story will be set in a desert and what character you want and what are the villains in the story. It was very fun at the time. Also other people made some quite fun worlds, so there was lots of stuff to do on it. However this game handles its business poorly, a lot of the content is behind a pay wall and instead of giving you stories it should have expanded on making you create your own stories as it was such as great part. Also they should of made this a paid game rather than a free game as no one would buy the paid content. Therefore since it was making no money it was unsupported by the developers and went downhill quite fast. Overall good game but could have been a great game.
Project Spark is a very unique game. It gives the player the choice to be the creator of his or her very own game experience. Innovative and fresh you think? And here come the micro-transactions. The whole freedom is spoiled thanks to greed. It could have been a high class ****!
It is not that good!
Many people say it is an amazing game, but it really isn't. First, it is a "free to play" game, so as you know, you can buy a lot of things just to can play. In this game it is so bad as you can easily play all the "games" that all people have made.
The bad part is when you want to make your "game", if you haven't bought anything you just have few characters and things to make your game. So there is when you really need to buy all the other characters, sceneries and even more.
Also there is like a " game story", made by creators, but you only can play the first chapter, if you want to play all the others, you have to buy them.
Finally as people say: it really isn't a game!, but it isn't positive. As it isn't a game, it become boring in 3 or 4 days. First because if you want to "make your game" is not that easy, I'm pretty sure that if you want to make a good "game" in Project Spark it isn't going to take you hours, days or weeks, it is going to take you a month or more! It's really difficult to make your game!
And about to play "games", them aren't real games, they are "mini-games" so you are going to feel boring with some time.
It has good graphics, I just saw few bugs and it has a big community. But the mini-games are boring and the creator mode is really hard, so it don't give you hours of fun.
