Visually, all three games have been retouched to look much sharper, while the audio remains standard fare: cool gun effects and hokey voices. [Mar 2004, p.63]
  2. Basically, this will keep your trigger finger busy for a long time....However,...no visual enhancements have been made for the Xbox port. [Feb 2004, p.109]
  3. If fast-paced shooting action and campy storylines (complete with the Resident Evil-styled bad voice acting) is your cup of tea, Silent Scope Complete will not disappoint you in the very least. While the series does show its age, this is still one of the most entertaining shooting games around.

Give it a rental but don't think that you have to have a lightgun. I've been playing this game for years without one and I'm not complaining.
  5. It’s a shame the light gun support just plain sucks and certainly steals away much of the potential charm of this title, but at least the gamepad control is more than adequate to play and enjoy an otherwise simple yet challenging shooter.
  6. Scratch the "Complete" BS - this really should've been called "Silent Scope 3 Plus," because the first two games are so short that your time is best spent uncovering the third game's myriad secrets. [Mar 2004, p.85]
  7. While complete in packaging, still feels like a shallow product, as the energy of the arcade game still isn't accurately captured.

This game is an excellent arcade port, and reviewers are expecting more than that. it deserves at least a nine.

I like this game. It's pretty simple, but sniping enemies in a bunch of different situations is entertaining. The graphics aren't I like this game. It's pretty simple, but sniping enemies in a bunch of different situations is entertaining. The graphics aren't impressive, but they have an arcadey quality that make them somewhat stylish. I like the storylines here too - they're so ridiculous and fun. To top it off, there's actually 4 full games in this package. All play similarly, but that's what makes it such a nice compilation.
