I highly recommend checking out You Must Build A Boat if you’re a fan of match-three puzzle RPG games, or if you loved the first one and have been waiting for the sequel.
It's a more complete 10000000, offering so much improvement all around that it makes the original game feel like a demo.
Despite the slight drop-off toward the end and the low replay value, You Must Build a Boat is a great experience while it lasts. For a good six to nine hours, building a boat will indeed become the most important task in your life.
But all combined, YMBAB is the definitive way to play EightyEight Games’ unique puzzle-RPG-runner, and a notable advancement from the already great 10000000.
You Must Build a Boat is a coherent follow up of the original concept, with a brilliant gameplay and some nice new elements.
A solid and entertaining match-things puzzler with surprising depth, You Must Build A Boat is well worth a look.
