The movie, let it be said, is not awful, but the kinetic battles are chaotic, and the look of the Quantum Realm is oddly drab in its interweaving of digital and VFX elements, seeming at times to be more like several first drafts of a new “Star Wars” franchise instead of a natural extension of this one. Honestly think a lot of people reviewing/rating this movie are out of their minds. Is this the best MCU film ever? no. But it’s far from the worst and, infact, has a lot of GREAT things to offer. Maybe if you have not seen all the previous Marvel movies you might find this interesting and with good action and scenes, but after seeing all previous Marvel movies this just seems bland and not much new. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The movie was not just poorly made, it was made disgustingly. I was looking forward to the beginning of the 5th phase, and then there was such a failure. The Kang army is not intimidating, with monotonous soldiers who cannot compete. The directors took the easy way out, deciding not to draw them out and making everyone the same. Remember the Outriders from the Avengers? Kang himself seemed like a child offended by the whole world, with a perpetually sad face that changed into outbursts of aggression. As an antagonist, he is already in the grave for me. It was a problem that was pulled out of thin air with bad, unconvincing acting.

The essence of the made-up problem is the incompleteness and stubbornness of Janet van Dyne. If Thanos was an inevitability, then Kang is a failed accident... Terrible!… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I was 45 minutes into this thinking "This isn't that bad. What's everyone's problem. Why the hate?" I mean up to that point it wasn't great but it also wasn't that bad.

Aaaaand then MODOK. I mean a $200mil budget and that's what they came up with. That simple reveal was enough to ruin the entire movie for me. I've never watched a movie that managed to do that.… Expand
