The film is a visual gem, each set piece rendered with an impeccable level of polish and attention that does justice to Nihei’s penchant skill for depicting monolithic dimensions.
The film’s world-building is more engaging than its plotting, which skews toward the generic as the embattled good guys set out on their last-ditch effort to save what remains of humanity; there’s a sense, while watching Blame!, that there are more interesting stories on the fringes of this tribal future.

This anime doesn't break the barriers of what is possible, but it's a really high quality animation with superb soundtrack. The story itself is quite decent as well, I can only hope that netflix can keep up with this high standard for quality since castlevania has been going down the drain in the new seasons.

Fun movie with some great vissuals, altough at some sceans the characters don't look as great as normally. Loved the twst that was pretty unexpetced.

Solo he visto los cortos animados que le han hecho de la franquicia del manga de Blame!, cortos que son bastantes olvidables, pero nos hacían interesar por ese mundo post-apocalíptico existencialista que nos querían aportar.
Ante esto, el que hizo Ajin y Shidonia no Kishi, se mostró interesado ante esta propuesta y decidió ponerse a manos a la obra junto a Netflix. Hmmm, y la pelicula de Blame en sí resulta, disfrutable, pero solamente para un publico especifico de espectadores, ya que la obra es tremendamente lenta, a pesar de ser una trama de simple de supervivencia, ademas, a unos cuantos puede que nos les guste la animación, ya que hay posiciones de cámara en que parecía que los frames corrieran más lentos si acercas a los personajes, ¿Que pasa ahí?
Esto va más a los que sean fanáticos de lo post-apocalíptico con cyberpunk, y los que hayan leído el manga y hayan gustado de ello, ya que aquí te muestran una historia simple, pero que termina intrigando a la persona por saber más del mundo.

Looks nice and the idea seems to be good, but I feel like there are so many things we were not told. It leaves you with so many questions in the end that maybe are not really important for plot but would be nice extension

Blame! has an interesting premise. But the story has it's problem. First it moves rather slowly. Two, the dialogues did repeat the same information twice in the movie. If you have a narrator that explain the story and one of your character repeat it again, it's pretty bad, especially since there wasn't any new information. The animation are extremely well done, The action scenes are very frantic and most of them are very fluid and controlled. The drawings are very technical with great care for details. The main character Kiri is somewhat mute and not easy to like. Overall I had fun watching it because some scenes were very iconic. I give it a 65%, but I wish they wouldn't have made the mistakes they did in the story.
