This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I love the art and unique style animation here. This brought me back to the MTV Liquid Television days! I also loved the first and second acts. But once the third act/magician arc of the story came in, it got too weird. I love adultery and revenge films, too, but I'm sure women would be displeased with the fact that Ella takes Jake back after revenge-cheating on her left and right...especially since she was never unfaithful. At the end of the day, story wise, I kinda wish the third act was less "sci-fi/magic" and more grounded, which would contrast the trippy and surreal visuals like the beginning.… Expand

I was disappointed, mostly because of very high reviews which drove expectations too high probably ... the art is interesting, the work original, the music excellent, but the rest disappointing.
