Overall, it’s a worthwhile journey.
While refreshingly centring a British Asian protagonist, Khan’s film is hopelessly bogged down by a thin plot and cliched dialogues.
a hackneyed story of a tedious, lovelorn expatriate, pulling himself together and dragging us around with him.
