The story of Kenny Sailors is one that all basketball lovers must know. The overall production of the movie was fantastic, viewers are quickly drawn into the fascinating story of this man's life and all he did for the great sport of basketball. A great movie and a must-watch for all sports lovers.

The untold story of Kenny Sailors, who introduced the jump shot to the game of basketball, unfolds in this documentary through innovative graphic use, animation, interviews with an all-star line-up of basketball greats and instantly endearing footage of the late Sailors himself. The film exposes the life of a man whose story encompassed far more than just the integral move he introduced to his chosen sport. From military service to championing athletics for girls to uprooting his life and career to care for the woman he loved, the many facets of Sailors' life make for cinema as engaging as a breakneck basketball game. "Jump Shot" will have you cheering, laughing and crying by the end, and leave your love of the game and life itself a little fuller for knowing this story.

Kenny Sailors belongs in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, period. However, I learned more about humility and sacrifice in this film than I did basketball. This is a great story **** man and I'm glad that I, and countless others, will have the opportunity to continue to learn from his legacy.

Imagine my surprise when I sat down to watch a sports documentary and ended up crying at the end! A powerful portrayal of a truly great man. I wish I could have know Kenny Sailor, but I'm just glad I got this glimpse into his amazing life.

Jump Shot is one of the most well thought out documentaries I have ever seen. The story of Kenny Sailors transcends his major impact on the sport of basketball and moves into the beauty of what makes us human. It is such a shame that the limited theatrical release of this movie never came to be but if you know the story of Kenny Sailors, it's not surprising that would happen.
This film is engineered to keep you interested the whole way through. The film integrates sports history, human experience, and great visuals to create a wonderful mural of such a wonderful life.
