This movie is the funniest movie, next to Jack and Jill. The actors are really good and have a depth in their humour that even adult will laugh for weeks after. If you hate the minions, your opinions will change after watching this. I now only buy products with minions on them !

My Granddaughter loved it, and in the end, that's all that really matters...

I also was amused throughout, and this is from someone who hates animated movies...

Silly Minions from Despicable Me are just as silly and adorable in this prequel of the aforementioned cartoon. There is nothing deep in this type of humor, so if you didn't like Minions and their jibber-jabber during the previous two installments, chances are you will find this ridiculousSilly Minions from Despicable Me are just as silly and adorable in this prequel of the aforementioned cartoon. There is nothing deep in this type of humor, so if you didn't like Minions and their jibber-jabber during the previous two installments, chances are you will find this ridiculous and/or annoying. For the fans, they should still find stuff to enjoy. Not to say that it could have been done much better and funnier, but still... Funniest stuff for me comes at the beginning (which was basically all the stuff from the trailers) and in the end, where I had some genuine LOL moments. The stuff in between is "hit or miss", but it was enough entertain me. The movie is not too long by today's standards, which is another plus.… Expand

Minions, an obvious cash grab from Illumination Entertainment does what it is set out to do, entertain little kids and make billions of dollars in the process.

The Minions were so good and so funny in both "Despicable" movies. I expected more of the same, but did not get it. The funniest part of this movie actually takes place before the the movie starts. I give this a 0 because there's literally nothing I liked from this. Just like with The Emoji Movie, I watched this because I was forced and it was like a nightmare. Before the Emoji Movie, I thought this was the worst thing to happen to mainstream animation. Just an hour and a half waste ofI give this a 0 because there's literally nothing I liked from this. Just an hour and a half waste of time with stupid and non-sensical jokes, incoherent plot that contradicts itself halfway through the movie and the minions...God, the minions.

Spin-offs or sequels with the comic relief as a protagonist are always destined to be bad and this was no exception. Don't start saying that I don't have the right to criticise and have an opinion on a stupid movie aimed to children...But let me tell you that kids don't deserve this level of stupidity, in fact that makes it EVEN worse, because you try to tell me that this movie is trying to teach kids that this is entertaining and this is good humor? You're telling me that this movie is trying to make kids stupid? Being a kids movie it's not an excuse, I'm sorry.… Expand
