The result is a breezy but chilling romp through a haunted rural farmhouse, seen through extremely high-resolution handheld camera work. Like most studio horror movies these days, it looks a lot better than it should, and slaps a bit less.

Hands down one of the best horror movies Ive ever seen, and this is my top 2 paranormal activity movie just behind Paranormal Activity 3, if you like the franchise this is a must see.

The ratings here will forever make me not take ratings seriously for movies. People always love to complain and especially for horror movies if it’s not “The Shining” it’s not a good movie. This movie is fantastic. It’s a must watch.

The “Paranormal Activity” films, to their credit, build slowly, backloading the chills in the second half. That means, to get through that first hour, the characters have to be interesting, but these self-absorbed Gen Z wannabe filmmakers are anything but.

I’m not sure what is wrong with the critics here. This is hands down one of the best of the series and top 10 of my favorite scary movies of all time. I have never had my wife literally quit watching and stop watching before. This movie is SCARY!! I love it!! This keeps you on the edge of your seat. It’s wonderful.

Absolutely phenomenal. I’m not sure what the rest of the trolls are thinking. keep in mind this is the internet and people are always FAR quicker to run and complain than to compliment. This such a fresh change of page from the usual movies franchise makes. It was one of the scariest movies I’ve seen in a long time!! It’s a must watch.

Phenomenal new coat of paint for the "Paranormal Activity" franchise in my opinion. The door is wide open for this reboot's 'sequel' possibilities. Excited for the future!
