Summary: Jacob (Walter Perez) and his best friend, Rob, (Charley Koontz) are taken under Doug’s wing, (William Forsythe) a cunning ex-con with ties to the Mexican underworld. Along the trip south of the war-torn border, Ivan, (Adal Ramones) right hand henchman of a powerful Mexican underworld boss, and his brother, Igor, (Pete Pano) complicate matters even further by kidnapping Rob and his estranged boss’s 17 year old son, Fito (Joshua Ponce de Leon). To make matters worse, Jacob has fallen for a Mexican bombshell (Romina Peniche) wife of a powerful warlord at the end of his reign. In over his head, Jacob is forced to face his personal demons head on. Guided by a modest farmer, Manuel (Sal Lopez) Jacob undergoes a significant metamorphosis. Through the tumultuous journey through Mexico, he’s transformed in several ways. The gradual awakening of his ‘collective consciousness’ becomes evident, as well as his realization that what he has been doing is wrong. He also realizes that one can never escape Karma. The only way to survive and rescue his best friend from certain death, is to tap into the heart and soul of the country that will make him the man he is destined to become.… Expand

You have the makings of a half-baked thriller that looks pretty good (that second-unit stuff in Mexico City is tight) and performances that aren’t half-bad, but at the end of the day it’s some neo-noir nonsense that makes those post-Tarantino movies from the mid-Nineties look like "Chinatown." Just saw the digital download of this movie. Blew me away. As a Mexican-American, it's rare when a movie encapsulates my experience on such a deep level. Very original story. I was floored by Adal Ramones performance as a bad guy! He was awesome. He usually plays funny guys so this was aJust saw the digital download of this movie. Blew me away. great film! My husband and me loved this film. Not sure why the critics were so harsh on it. Guess they didn't get it!! lol--We were alwayz entertained and loved all the twistes and turns! The end really shocked us but we like surprise endings! I hope they make ROAD TO ARGENTINA next!

ROAD TO JUAREZ..... First let me start by saying hats off the director and all involved in the film wonderful job all of you. The story has a way of making you think you know what's going to happen. but then hits you with a curve ball. The plot will have moving around in your seat and eatingROAD TO JUAREZ..... With visuals so easy on the eyes it was easy not to blink. This is not a movie you go see its a movie you experience. This flick was sick!! Great acting and amazing visuals. Was like taking a trip to the Mexican countryside! Our family loved it. Hollywood films are so predictable--this flick kept you guessing and on the edge of your seat!!!
