The whole shooting match is pretty bloody, and as cheesy as the dairy aisle, but decent fun to watch.
Rogue Hostage is shoddy work.

This is a low budget made-for-TV type action movie. It is certainly watchable, as long as you can ignore lots of "they would never do that" plot conveniences. Tyrese Gibson is excellent as the lead, I would watch more of his movies, and John Malkovich is as good as ever. The lady actor in the red dress should stop "acting" immediately. I found it entertaining enough, with a bit better screenplay it could have been excellent for a low budget movie.

The story is weak, added with some awkward side characters. Dozens of unlogical situations. Best part was the performance of the actors.

This movie is just plain boring. It's poorly written & directed & while it has a few well known actors in it, it doesn't help the movie at all. I figured it was going to be pretty terrible when I never heard of it & it came out last summer.
