Can't believe I waited until now to write a review for this movie. Homecoming is a reboot done right. It's Spidey done right! The ideal adaptation of the webshooter. Another triumph for the MCU. Welcome home, Spidey!

This movie blew me away. After liking Spider-Man 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man and holding out hope for the character, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 left me feeling broken on the character, never wanting to see a solo Spidey movie again. I can say while this movie changes a lot, this is the most faithful to Stan Lee & Jack Kirby's original vision of the character, and reminds me a lot of Spectacular Spider-Man, one of my favourite animated shows ever. Vulture is an incredible villain, and provides one of the best scenes in the MCU with the car scene. Great movie.… Expand

Spiderman Homecoming was my personal favorite standalone spidey flick. To clarify, I have seen all the prior films with Toby Maquire & Andrew Garfield. I found each film enjoyable for different reason, but as I left the theater I felt the most rewarded by the newest entry. I thinkSpiderman Homecoming was my personal favorite standalone spidey flick. I think Tom Holland was perfectly cast, as his age and demeanor felt right for the role. The film also benefited from the appearance of other established Marvel characters, leading to some enjoyable Easter eggs. I do understand that this film had a little bit of an advantage, as it did not have to show the audiences another origin story. I recommend the film to any Spiderman fans, or just fans of the overall Marvel Cinematic universe.… Expand

Spider-man means teenie movie and this is how the movie is: annoying and childish. Good visual effects though and Micheal Keaton as the villain was interesting.
