Stakeout. This is one of those movies which I love watching. The thrills, the laughs and also the good fun.

John Badham did very well with WarGames and Saturday Night Fever, both pretty much either created a genre or defined it. This buddy cop movie came out same year as Lethal Weapon, the biggest buddy cop movie ever. The music is generic synthesizer, not unusual or memorable.
