If even one audience member leaves more concerned with the evils of poachers than the pleasures of Pokemon, Disney's more than done its job.
Probably would have yielded a more interesting documentary than this sugary feature.
The story's a bore; its arrhythmic stutter of humor and drama, tension and calm never builds into any coherent emotional arc.
Brilliant film of nature has been warped into something jarringly unnatural.
