The sequel series to George Lucas and Ron Howard's Willow finally has a premiere date and some first footage from Disney+: It is coming to the streamer on Nov. 30, and you can watch a teaser for the show below.

Willow was originally released as a feature film in 1988, earning a 47 Metascore, two Academy Award nominations, and telling the story of a reluctant dwarf (played by Warwick Davis) who has to protect a baby from an evil queen. Almost 35 years later, it is receiving a follow up that the streamer is calling "an epic period fantasy series with a modern sensibility set in an enchanted land of breathtaking beauty."

This time around, an unlikely group of heroes have to embark upon a dangerous quest to places far beyond their home, face their inner demons, and come together to save their world. As you can see from the teaser, this is because the balance between good and evil gets upset, and in order for the universe to correct the problem, Davis' eponymous character is called upon again. He just doesn't do it alone.

"Into the unknown, that's where we must go," he says in the teaser.

Davis reprises his role in the fantasy adventure series and stars alongside Ellie Bamber, Dempsey Bryk, Amer Chadha-Patel, Ruby Cruz, Ralph Ineson, Erin Kellyman, and Tony Revolori.

Willow the series comes from Lucasfilm, showrunners Jonathan Kasdan and Wendy Mericle, and executive producers Ron Howard, Kathleen Kennedy, and Michelle Rejwan.
