Biography: William "Billy" Wendell Gilman III was born in Westerly, Rhode Island on May 24, 1988. He was raised in Hope Valley/Richmond, RI. Billy is 5' 7'' tall now and has a cat and a dog. His dog's name is Wizzer and his cat's name is Zoe. His hobbies are: baseball, basketball, singing, rollerblading, and fishing. At the age of 8, his grandmother took him to the entertainer and vocal coach, Angela Bacari for help and advice on how to get started in the music industry. She worked with Billy for 2 years, teaching him. She is one of the people who helped him to get in to the music industry.
In 2000, Billy's single, "One Voice" entered the Billboard chart. This made him the youngest artist at the time to ever hit the Billboard country airplay chart. "One Voice" sold over one million copies in less than three months after its release. His second album, "Classic Christmas," was released in October 2000. Before the end of the year of its release it was certified gold. His third album,

On May 3, 2005, his fifth album, "Everything and More" was released and on July 25, 2006, his sixth album was released, titled "Billy Gilman." When Billy was 14 years old his voice changed. Which, is why we didn't see him for a couple of years. Billy has made a great comeback.
