Klonoa is a fun game to play but becomes repetitive and tedious quickly, and the fact that it's so similar to the first game is very disappointing.

The complete package; its diversity in both the build up to the race and on the road delivers an experience that satisfies on multiple levels, making for an effective racing game. Unlike other games of the same genre, this one will test your brain, memory as well as your reflexes.

Easily one of the best racers to have been released during the Game Boy Advance's life. It races well, it's fun while it lasts, and it's pretty to boot.

The game may be short by the franchise's standards, but every minute of it is breathtaking.

In the short time it takes for you to complete it, you'll probably experience a few unique adrenaline pumping moments that will inevitably bring a smile to your face. Don't worry, for an action game-.no, a Metal Slug game, it's only natural.

An essential RPG purchase on the GBA. Yes the games are dated by todays standards, however, the high quality updates to the music and visuals go a long way to remedying this, and even with relatively simplistic gameplay, Final Fantasy 1 and 2 are vintage turn based RPGs at their very best.

The camera can be gotten used to, but in all honesty, the fact that you have to get used to it is a real downer.

Comparable in many ways to Fire Emblem, The Third Age betters it in many ways, offering a more in-depth character management system, deeper tactical options and a greater variety in mission objectives.

The missions, characters, expansive city environment, sound and graphics all pull together to create an enjoyable experience. The game is, however, filled with minor flaws, and the camera causes frustration. With a weak story and minor technical faults Grand Theft Auto Advance was never going to be more than just a fun game.

A great looking and great sounding game, one of the most impressive on the GBA. The frustrating lack of control, screen-resets and small number of levels put a nasty dent in its play value.

Shark Tale thrives on its variety and doesn't disappoint.

It is an entertaining espionage action game that suffers from some bad glitches and difficult controls.

Whether you rely on brute strength or a tactical mind, the fact that the game allows this is an achievement in itself. [JPN Import]

This is one of the most entertaining GBA games I have had the pleasure to play this year. With improved visuals, gameplay and mode variety, there is very little to flaw this excellent action title with.

It is this exploration of every nook and cranny of the world that provides a surprisingly lengthy gaming experience. You will want to discover every mini-game, talk to every person, and earn every prize you can throughout the land.

A breath of fresh air on a system with a back catalogue full of generic platformers and ports of classic SNES titles. The gameplay never fails to entertain, combining puzzle solving, platforming and even adventure aspects.

But for those of you who have yet to play the NES title, unless you're extremely curious as to how the Zelda franchise started, you're better off without this mediocre 'adventure'. Nintendo, lay this one to rest.

Other than EA’s "Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King," there isn’t a finer action RPG on the handheld. There are slight gameplay and graphical issues, sure, but it doesn’t take much persistence to overcome these, and the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Ultimately restricted somewhat by its status as a remake and is consequently torn between sticking to the roots of the series and blending those new additions found in Fusion and even Metroid Prime.

Won’t last long as a single player game - combat’s a little simple and the gameplay modes on offer are just too dry to provide any lasting entertainment.

An impressive debut of the legendary racing series on the GBA, sporting good graphics and sound and some surprisingly deep gameplay. It does have a few faults, and while it's not as engaging as its console version, it would be hard for me not to recommend this game.

The GBA needed this game, but it could have used a bit more refinement in control and frame-rate before shipping.

Follows every role-playing cliché and rule but does so with style. Sadly however the flaws within the game remain too obvious and Sword of Mana is merely a slightly above average game that deserves a slightly above average score.

Despite the language translation problems and the fact that the gameplay will eventually grow tiresome, Friends of Mineral Town provides one of the longest, most involving and addictive experiences to be released on the Game Boy Advance so far.

The mix between overly complex elements and overly simple ones brings this title down somewhat, however it does not completely hide a truly fantastic game.

The game’s addictive pick up and play gameplay makes it a lot more accessible, despite the high difficultly level. The brilliant graphical presentation and use of excellent atmospheric music and sounds also help to make this title an absolute gem.

The overwhelming dryness of this style of game, along with the portability issues that hang over it like a rather nasty storm mean that this game is best left to the PC if at all possible, which is a far better platform for the amazing depth, strategy and variety that this game offers.

The lack of variety, depth, length and innovation will leave much to be desired.
