Part 2 of 5. Teens compete, beginning when they prepare shrimp and jalapeños in the appetizer round. Later, they must create entrées out of frog legs; and combine an iconic New York cookie with a popular nut to make desserts.

Part 3 of 5. Teens compete to serve the best appetizer featuring dandelion greens. Later, they turn to the fryer when cooking Cornish hens; and try their luck with the ice cream machine when making desserts.

Part 4 of 5. Four teens compete for the last spot in the finale. The battle begins with the young chefs using salsa verde in their appetizer dishes. Later, entrée ingredients include couscous and buffalo.

Conclusion. Teens compete for the grand prize of $25,000 and a culinary school scholarship. Their first obstacle involves turning a sea creature into an appetizer. Later, they are given a classic kids' snack to transform into an entrée.

Part 2 of 5. Amateur winners return to compete for the "Ultimate Champions" title, in a battle that begins with salsa and cheese blintzes as appetizer ingredients. Later, 2 chefs vie to use a certain piece of equipment in the entrée round.

Part 3 of 5. Two firefighters, a police officer and an Army vet compete for a spot in the "Ultimate Champions" finale. On the menu: pineapple and nut bars as appetizer ingredients; entrées made with spring garlic and lamb chops.

Part 4 of 5. Laila Ali, Brandi Chastain, Gillian Vigman and Carnie Wilson compete for the last spot in the "Ultimate Champions" finale. For appetizers, they are forced to work with a peculiar type of flour and sweet tea.

Conclusion. A professional chef competes against three amateurs in the "Ultimate Champions" finale. For appetizers, they are given risotto as an ingredient. Later, a huge surprise in the entrée basket receives mixed reactions.

Fourth- and fifth-grade students compete to create delicious dishes with the mystery ingredients provided, including cotton candy, pizza dough, a bitter green, and brownie mix.

The competing chefs are given mystery basket ingredients, that cost less than $10, and are expected to transform them into winning dishes. Included: a meatless appetizer round; ham steaks as entrées; and chocolate chips for dessert.
