I would rank it as one of the year’s best shows, for what it does right and what it doesn’t bother doing, for the intelligence of the writing and the natural flow of its dialogue, and the impressively deep performances of its phenomenally talented young cast — not actual 12-year-olds, but near enough. Not sure what these other reviews are on about (especially the incredibly fragile rant about supposed wokeness… what?), great first season! Looking forward to seeing where they take season 2.

The first episode looked cheap and uninteresting. I can't believe they packed the comic's first part (six issues) into one lousy episode.
