Luckily, users are the point and it is true that STALKER was cancelled but with more than 1,3 million of viewers.
In other channel STALKER could be working right but for CBS it is not enough. CBS is the fail, not the 1,3 million viewers.
So **** OFF, all this so huge JOURNALIST **** of **** that believes they have the power and can manipulate and abuse if an actor or a group of actors are not welcome for them.

SEASON 1
The most amazing show ever to be made. The acting is flawless as well as the directing and script, love the story lines and Beth and Jacks relationship, they are perfect for each other. Maggie Q and Dylan Mcdermott are faultless actors and play their parts so well. To sum it up, this show is amazing and I would be over the moon if their was a second series.

There’s something desperate and torture porny about this show.
Stalker is pure terror porn from Kevin Williamson, who gave us the Scream horror-movie franchise.
This series works the tropes without the humor, and the result too often feels exploitive.
I’ve reviewed literally hundreds of new shows. I can think of not one program that repulsed me more than Stalker. It sounds like hyperbole, but Stalker made me feel gross.
This shoddy program is nothing more than exploitative, misogynist trash.
This is one of the best, newest shows on tv. It is refreshing different for a crime drama and holds my attention well. I am so tired of new CSI, law and order, NCIS, blah, blah, blah spin off shows. I like the originals of all those series, but the spin offs for all but one of them are so weak and boring. The only one where I like two is Law and Order original and SVU. Stalker is welcome and interesting.

I find it difficult to understand the ridiculously low metacritic score for Stalker. The average user score in my opinion more accurately reflects the worth of this show, and the massive difference of opinion between viewers and critics is fascinating.
Sure, it's not classic TV, but it makes for a perfectly watchable.40 odd minutes. I wouldn't be heartbroken not to see it again, but if it got picked up somewhere I'd at least start watching a second series.
My rating would be somewhere between the two. I don't think it's either as bad as 1.7 or as good as 7.3. It's nearer a 5.5 for me and, because we can't do halves, I'll round up to 6.

"Stalker" has reached the end of its run on CBS. I thought it was done when they stopped it's rotation after episode 17. But the cancellation was announced and then the last three were aired-- which is highly unusual.
"Stalker" is being shopped around and may find new life on another channel. It's not that "Stalker" is a horrible show. I do like the interaction of the core characters-- Beth/Michelle, Jack, Janice, Ben and Vicky. I think the actors did a great job with what they were given. It's just in its current format, there's not enough to keep me coming back regularly. The stories are often very cookie cutter and the culprits are easy to determine. And the 22 episode per season format allows too much time for filler that goes nowhere.

A terrible show with cliched cop show moments, terrible dialogue, wooden acting and has your occasional murder porn vibe. Dylan McDermont and Maggie Q have awful chemistry on screen, which seems to have their talents wasted. A horribly forgettable show. Don't watch it!
