“Wandavision” works as a painstakingly crafted, impressively spot-on tribute to the evolution of the American sitcom — later episodes will take us through the 1980s and 1990s style of comedy and eventually reach a “Modern Family” type world — and as something directly connected to the “real” lives of Wanda and Vision. Though it gets off to a slow start, the show has plenty going for it, from gorgeous, extremely expensive-looking production design and breathtaking special effects to punchy performances, a trippy mood and a plot that does eventually become quite absorbing. ... It's not the MCU we are used to, and i love it.

Some may find the pace to be slow (and therefore boring), but in my opinion it adds more depth to the whole concept of the series - a comedy show, that seems to be jumping from era to era and evolving (hell, someone here rated this seriesIt's not the MCU we are used to, and i love it.

It wouldn't have been compelling to just stick to the comedy show aspect, if they would just rush through it, and i enjoy the more laid back approach. The first two episodes definitely left me wanting for more, and the potential for a very great Season as a whole is certainly there.… Expand

A very ambitious Marvel show that mimics the sound and style of older television sitcoms where the viewer is constantly searching for clues to uncover the mystery of the world they live in.

I did generally enjoy this show but I do feel that it was very carried by its initial half. The way they slowly built the mystery up alongside the creative decision to set it in a sitcom world was very inspired.

Unfortunately, as the series progressed it started to lose its charm a bit and feel more like a generic Marvel flick. I have found this to be a consistent problem for Marvel and it's slightly dissapointing that it has not been remedied yet.

Despite this, overall, it is an entertaining show and one that has reach beyond just fans of the MCU. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany put in impressive performances, especially as they've largely performed a supporting role in the movies. It is nice to see that when given the chance they prove their worth. Like I said, my main criticism is just how average the latter episodes are especially after the promise of the first few.… Expand

Comedy isn't funny, mystery isn't mysterious, isn't thrilling. Hit's you over the head with cues, as subtle as a **** in the bed. Utterly boring.

Il faut dire que là, sous l’égide de Disniais, la corpo Merdvel s’est surpassée en termes de connerie pure, raffinée à 120% de haute connerie improbable et insupportable. Un tel sabordage des super-héros (qui sont ici simplement… super cons !), de telles inepties alignées comme à la parade, fièrement et éhontément… quelle abjection, quel déshonneur !

Bien sûr, ils peuvent être cons les super-zouaves, comme dans toute marvellerie pas merveilleuse mais là, tout de même à ce point, c’est extrêmement gênant et embarrassant. Et bien entendu pas drôle du tout, y compris au quarantième degré. Un tissu de conneries issu d’une bande de trous du cul, c’est tout ce que c’est, cette pauvre, cette minable série de golios de merde !… Expand
