Peak underrated game. It has love and passion put into it, Amazing soundtrack, awesome levels, has depth with skills you can use on Sonic, Outstanding concept, and amazing ending with a life lesson. Sure the controls are not good but the skills are there to make it better. You just have to not focus on the controls and just enjoy the game. I love Sonic and the Secret Rings.

I'll do say this game is close to solid due to the Wiimotes' motion controls, but the soundtrack sounds great, the graphics are okay, and the cutscenes are decent, because the animation is lazy.

The game looks great. It is perhaps a slight improvement over the last Sonic games from the previous consoles. Popular gaming resources rank this gave even higher than those of the two more advanced consoles now available in graphics and more. Audio-logically speaking, the same voice actors from previous games are used, the music is the same Japanese pop and metal. Some do not like it, but I love it. There are some additional mini-games using Sonic characters. They are a bit of a challenge to learn and they do not compare to other popular party games, but they do make for a quick distraction. In the end, get the game for the adventure and let it bring you back to the old days of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Ouch! This game f**king ****! Sure, it may look cool, have a good soundtrack, and have cool themes and story, but it just controls so bad to the point where calling it playable is giving too much credit. And what's the point of making better controls unlockables? Wtf?
