When SFxTk is great this one is greater, a combination of two universe Marvel and Capcom that will gonna make you happy and the characters they pick are famous like Spider Man Wolverine of X men The twins Dante and Vergil of Devil may cry Ryu of Street Fighter etc.. all of my favorite characters in Marvel and Capcom are here so this is good....................
Wow what an amazing port of one of this generations top fighters! I'm very impressed that Capcom pulled this off! Excellent game design all around. Tight controls and multiplayer! This is a fantastic game that every Vita owner should have in their library! It's a great showcase game to show off to folks on the fence about buying a Vita. Highly recommended.
This is an awesome game and it's Perfect to pick up and play for the vita. Graphics and gameplay are very good- do t listen to all these negative fools who like giving bad marks as if it's their hobby- they got nothing better to do obviously- if you like marvel and fighters you will love this
Been a fan since the original marvel vs capcom ,still have the original ps1 game with me,if you like fast, fluid and chaotic action in a fighting game then Umvc3 is for you. Game modes are lacking but still a fun game to play and it looks stunning on the vita
It's a very polished port **** fighting game. Any faults are completely due to the nature of the platform: a portable. I didn't buy this game as I tend to have poor experiences with fighting games on handheld devices. However, as a bundled game it offers good value and a fair bit of fun should you have access to a solid connection and friends to play it with.
I'm really not a fan of this game altogether. Im a die hard fighting fan, but Capcom has left me something to desire lately. But if your looking for a portable fighter with great graphics, excellent controls and on the go addiction, umvc3 is the way to go. I just wish I knew how to play this game! Fans of MVC3 will love this, otherwise, wait for MK.
While the graphics are shiny and the overrall feel of the game is very smooth for a handheld, the controls here are quite terrible, It is obvious that Capcom is making all of these average fighters with arcade sticks in mind. Unlike the console versions though, you cannot buy an overpriced arcade stick. You are instead forced to hassle with the very awkward controls that partially work. It is good on the Vita for basic gameplay, but be prepared to destroy your system if you touch the mission mode. Yes, Capcom once again has blessed us with a stupid mission mode that is only possible with an arcade stick an over 20 years experience with the game. This mode actually ruins the game for me and showcases the games pathetic controls well. I have not tried the touch controls, but who cares about touch controls in a fighting game??? Either way, the gameplay can be fun at times, the graphics are excellent and the character roster is good, though you STILL have to pay $4.99 for Shuma and Jill, but the finicky controls combined with lack of decent controls options and impossible combos make me regret my purchase. Cannot wait for Mortal Kombat though.
