For me, Far Cry 4 is the best of the franchise and always will be, the vibe it gives off is sinister, the setting, Pagan Min, Kyrat and everything else. The story is good too, but I think a lot of the Far Cry 4 experience is made possible by Kyrat, the map is insane and a lot of fun to explore. The map really fascinates me, and I think Ubisoft should go back to its roots and try to produce a map with the same feel as Far Cry 4, and just as beautiful, bringing in aspects of the Nepalese Himalayas, which are very present in Kyrat. But despite all this, Ajay Ghale could have had more personality. Strengths: Map, Soundtrack, Boss, Gameplay, Mechanics (Outposts, Towers), Feeling the game gives, Quests, Story (could be a bit better and longer, but it's still great and surpasses them all), Graphics (except the characters). Weaknesses: Character modeling (including facial expressions), A.I. (not so bad, but could be better). This game is incredible, my favorite game, not just from the franchise, but one of my favorite games of my life. I'm writing this note on January 16, 2024, and so far Far Cry 4 doesn't have a remake, but it very much deserves one.
This is the BEST far cry i have ever played this is just a **** around sandbox mayday the game is GOOD you can doevry thing from driving a car in the woods to commit manslauther really good and fun.
Far Cry 4 is a game set in the fictional of Kyrat that borders the Himalayas. The games graphics are stunning and hold up well to todays standards. The game gives you options that can shape Kyrat to your will. Though the main character is a little bland, the others are not. The games main antagonist is generally interesting due to his deep backstory and the amazing voice acting for the character. The games main missions are generally varied and interesting, the side missions are not. There are only a few types of side missions, that you do over and over again. The outposts also feel the same after about the 70% mark seeing as they all feel the same. The stealth is deep with a range of takedowns available and the shooting is fine. Despite it's flaws Far Cry 4 is a good game, so if you see it on sale then it's worth a buy.
There's almost everything you liked (or dislike) from its predecessor, and that could be a selling point for some, or a drawback for others. In the end, it's a very well crafted more of the same, where the change in the setting delivers some interesting landscapes and cultural aspects in the narrative.
