You'll never catch me playing this game in the arcades but having DDR on my Xbox ready to humiliate myself in the privacy of my own home is undeniable fun.
A splendid dancing game although the new hit songs mostly suck and some the other songs have been recycled over and over again. Plus there are not that many new ideas compared to Unleashed 2. [Apr 2006]
Ultramix 3 adds some new content in the way of new gameplay modes, but none of the modes are really any better than vanilla DDR-which means there's really no added value.
If you're still charmed in the slightest by the Dance Dance Revolution franchise, then Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3 will likely put a big grin on your face, and if you're anything like me, it'll complement those unstylish dance moves just fine.
Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3 incorporates a bunch of new modes and switches up the songlist, but for many less-than-expert players will seem a little too similar to previous games.
What's crucial to fans, though, is that many of the issues that have plagued the previous Ultramix releases have been completely ironed out this time around.
This is certainly a solid addition to the series, but overall it's hardly worth upgrading from the previous outing.
